Picks before kick-off, a leaderboard over the weekend, a vote after the final whistle. Give fans something to do around every match, and reward the best of them. Play the match prediction, the memory tournament and the fan poll below.
A memory game with a leaderboard that runs over a weekend. Players pick a nickname, play for their best score and climb the ranks.
Rewards
A prize ladder by rank, awarded automatically when the weekend closes.
Rules
Every flip is checked by the server. The leaderboard shows nicknames only, never contact details. Below a minimum number of players, the tournament is void and nothing is awarded.
Best for
A club or sponsor app, a matchday programme, a newsletter or a screen at the ground.
A match-day round is one campaign with one question per match. Fans pick the outcome or the score, and each match locks at its own kick-off. When the results are in, enter them in the console or import a CSV, and the server scores every set of picks. Prizes go to everyone above a score or to the top ranks, and each fan gets their result by email. Nobody pays to take part.
02
Short tournaments with a prize ladder
Run a competition over a weekend or a round, scored by memory, the sliding puzzle, quiz or prediction. Choose whether the best, the total or the latest score counts, and set a prize for each rank range. When the window closes, the prizes are awarded automatically. Below the minimum number of players you set, nothing is awarded. Only scores the server recorded count: no page can send one in.
03
Nicknames on the leaderboard, never contact details
Players choose a nickname of 2 to 20 characters, checked against a blocklist, or keep a masked one such as “Player 4F2A”. The leaderboard shows the top of the table and the player’s own rank. It never shows an email address or a phone number.
04
Memory and puzzles where skill counts
In Memory and the Sliding Puzzle, playing well decides the result. The server deals the cards or the shuffle and checks every move and its timing, so a script cannot claim a score it did not play. Fewer moves and a faster time climb the leaderboard.
05
Fan polls after the final whistle
Ask one question, such as player of the match. Each fan votes once, and the results appear straight after voting or when the poll closes. The answers stay anonymous unless you add a form.
06
Prizes that reach the winner
Predictions and tournaments ask for an email, so a prize awarded after the round still reaches its winner. Hand out codes, offer links or prizes your staff fulfil, with limits on how many of each exist. Brand every game in the club’s or the sponsor’s colours, logo and sounds.
